Description: Please pre-book for this ride by contacting the ride leader. Sociable ride of 24-40 km (15-25 miles) at a pace of 18-20km/h (11-13 mph). A magical mystery tour to Blake's.

We set off in a little light rain which was very refreshing and didn't last too long. We went out via Charney, Gainfield and Hatford Downs to the A420 (where we met a very ignorant lorry driver - no major problems). Then on to Blakes at Clanfield where the service and coffee was excellent. We had a chat about local celeb Henry Cole and lo and behold between Clanfield and Bampton a cameraman was filming the aforementioned coming towards us on a motorbike! Everyone got up Buckland Hill with no problem. Unfortunately the leader got a puncture at the Col de Denchworth (railway bridge) but thanks to tremendous team support made it back. Thank you one and all for your help and support.
