Ridgeway Cycles and CUK Wantage off-road ride	2*

Leader: Eddie Little	Start Time: 6:30 pm	Start Location: Ridgeway Cycles
Description: Ridgeway Cycles is teaming up with Cycling UK Wantage, to run a shorter less challenging mountain bike group ride. Meeting outside Ridgeway Cycles. Ride departs at 06:30pm. Ride distance between 10 - 15 miles, mixed abilities. Cost free. Sign up essential. We look forward to welcoming you on the ride. Knobbly tyres required & light's to get you home. A nice simple route following the Icknield Greenway out to Lockinge, then taking a gentle climb up to the Ridgeway via Knights Farm, following the Ridgeway just past Scutchamer Knob, we’ll then take the descent to the Harwell Campus following the perimeter fence to the Icknield Greenway & back to Wantage. Ride distance 13.06 miles /21km.
Riders: Eddie Little James Bosley Tim Waite Riders = 3 Weather: Report: Taking into consideration the amount of rain we’d had over the past few days, the trails were actually in pretty good condition and a pleasant ride was had by one and all. The weather stayed dry throughout the ride along with mild temperatures. We spotted a number of Muntjac out on the trails though one did get a little close to Tim’s front wheel. Lights were required as we came back into Lockinge. We made excellent time arriving back at Larkhill for 07:45pm. Many thanks to Tim & James for there excellent company.
