Ridgeway Cycles and CUK Wantage off-road ride	2*

Description: Ridgeway Cycles is teaming up with Cycling UK Wantage, to run a shorter less challenging mountain bike ride group ride. Meeting outside Ridgeway Cycles. Ride departs at 06:30pm. Ride distance 10 - 15 miles, mixed abilities. Cost free. Sign up essential. We look forward to welcoming you on the ride. Knobbly tyres required and light’s to get you home. This is the last ride of the year for the MTB taster sessions. At a ride distance of 10.06 mi/ 16km. Larkhill, Old Street, Ilsley Down, Coldharbour to Betterton, Ardington via the Icknield Greenway to Wantage.

So, it was nice to have eight keen riders along with the perfect weather conditions to finish these series of rides on. A warm welcome to James and Joshua on there first ride. Also a pleasure to have Amy join us for her second ride. It was really a ride of two halves. We started the ride with sunny clear skies, by the time we reached the bottom of Old Street lights were required to complete the second half of the ride. Everyone rode really well and seemed to enjoy the ride. Many thanks to Roger for helping to lead and to James B, Simon, and Tim for sweeping when required. A nice ride with perfect company. I would like to thank Jane John for sweeping on previous rides and for leading a lovely Sunday ride, much appreciated! Also many thanks to Pip for leading the August rides. These rides have been a great success and we are looking forward to starting these rides next spring, hopefully on a weekly basis. Watch this space!
