Daytime 1* Thursday Ride	1*

Leader: John Tranter	Start Time: 10:00 am	Start Location: OMH
Description: Please pre-book for this ride by contacting the ride leader. Easy sociable ride of 24-32 km (15-20 miles) at a pace of 14-17km/h (9-11 mph). An easy ride out into the lovely villages to the east - Lockinge and Ginge, with a coffee stop at the wonderful Grocer Chef cafe in Ardington. Route might be modified slightly for the A338 roadworks, but this is about right. A mellow 12 miles.
Riders: Carin Tranter Geoff Neill John Tranter Rob Godfrey Steve Swanton Susan Holdroyd Tim Hoyle Tim Waite Vicky Hoyle Riders = 9 Weather: Report: A reasonable weather forecast clearly proved popular and it was good to see a nice group forming. Susan was unable to ride with a late injury, but joined us for coffee. We negotiated the A338/Lidl roadworks successfully and conquered Benchworth Hill in style. The lanes around Lockinge and Ginge were as delightful as ever, with some nice autumn colours on display. The Bridge of Doom did live up to its name with a puncture for Vicky, but the pit stop crew did a quick change and all was well. Refreshments at the Grocer Chef were as excellent as ever and we headed home via the Lains Barn road. Thanks to all for a very pleasant morning.
