Thursday Social at the Down to Earth Cafe

Leader: Steve Swanton	Start Time: 11:00 am	Start Location: The Old Stables, Stirling Close, Wantage
Description: Given the very cold and frosty conditions forecast for Thursday morning, the planned 1* ride has been cancelled. Instead, everyone is welcome to meet up for elevenses and a chat at the Down to Earth Community Cafe from 11-12 am.
Riders: Andy Pixton David Bridge Patrick O'Leary Richard Kidd Steve Swanton Susan Holdroyd Tim Waite Riders = 7 Weather: Report: In lieu of today's rides, 7 of us gathered for a drink, cake and chat at a busy Down to Earth cafe. Topics ranged from decommissioning of the Harwell reactors to apple tags, tracking apps and Wantage CCTV coverage! It was nice to see Andy taking a socialising break while working from home, Katherine, on serving duty when we first arrived, and Carin, who popped in briefly to say hello . Fingers crossed for fair weather and that we'll be back on our bikes next week...
