Daytime 2* Thursday Ride to Lambourn	2*

Leader: Roger Postbeschild	Start Time: 10:00 am	Start Location: OMH
Description: Please pre-book for this ride by contacting the ride leader. Sociable ride of 24-40 km (15-25 miles) at a pace of 18-20km/h (11-13 mph). Another excuse for a visit to Goodies Cafe in Lambourn.
Riders: Angie Fisher Anke Otto Barry Stanton David Bridge Des Higgs Geoff Neill John Groves Martin Purling Patrick O'Leary Pauline Clark Richard Kidd Roger Postbeschild Riders = 12 Weather: Report: I managed to arrange beautiful weather again for a Thursday ride...I also 'arranged' for the Seven Barrows road to be closed, we virtually had it to ourselves. A very nice man in his van moved the barrier to one side to allow us through. Goodies was, as ever, excellent. We did have a couple of hitches.....Patrick and Geoff seemed to think that the Seven Barrows road was to be found by heading towards Great Shefford. It took until Eastbury for Richard to persuade them to retrace back to Lambourn.... Barry shipped a chain (again) going down Kingston Lisle Hill. Many thanks to Richard for sweeping duties.

A pause before descending Blowingstone Hill Anke's trip back along the towpath was a little hampered
