Thursday Social at Costa in Grove

Description: The forecast for Thursday is for heavy rain, so no day for a group ride. Plan B is for a social gathering at Costa in Grove between 11 and 12. All welcome.
Riders: Barry Stanton David Bridge Lorna Swanton Richard Kidd Roger Postbeschild Steve Swanton Susan Holdroyd Riders = 7 Weather: Report: It may still have been dry at 10 o'clock, but by 11 the rain was coming down steadily and had slowly become heavier by 12. Not a day for riding (and a good move to delay the 2* ride to Friday for those that can make it). Seven of our Thursday regulars joined for coffee/hot chocolate and convivial conversation in Costa. No Thursday rides next week (it's Christmas Day) but both 1* and 2* rides are planned on New Year's Day, weather permitting. Do keep an eye out for ride details closer to the time.
