Evening off-road Ridgeway, Segsbury to Scutchamer	2*

Leader: Roger Postbeschild	Start Time: 6:30 pm	Start Location: Ridgeway Cycles
Description: Please pre-book for this ride by contacting the ride leader. Off-road ride around local tracks, usually about 10 -15 miles. Knobbly tyres required and good lights when it gets dark (‘get you home’ lights in Spring/Autumn). We are keen to welcome new riders and can make recommendations or have spare lights to borrow if you let us know. Dark, cold and wet - we’ll ride in any two. But please let us know if you are coming so we can tell you if we decide to cancel due to bad weather or other reasons. A stiff climb up to Segsbury Camp, then Ridgeway along to Scutchamer Knob and return via Icknield Greenway. Ride will end at Lark Hill allotments.
Riders: Alan Berry Alex Cumiskey Eddie Little Paul Wensley Roger Postbeschild Tim Waite Riders = 6 Weather: Report: Six riders joined the usual more ambitious throng outside Ridgeway Cycles. We set off on a simple loop, up to Segsbury Camp (where your leader's e-bike was not playing ball as much as it could have). Along the Ridgeway to Scutchamer Knob, where we dropped back down and returned via the Icknield Greenway. No incidents to report, which makes me very happy. Incidentally, the e-bike was fixed by the time-honoured expedient of turning it off, then turning it back on. Simples! Thanks to Eddie for sweeping.
