Description: RIDE CANCELLED - Extreme heat warning from Met Office. Ride cancelled. - Please pre-book for this ride by contacting the ride leader. 1.5-2 hour ride at a riding pace of 18-20km/h (11-13mph) Faringdon via Fernham PLEASE NOTE DELAYED START TIME TO 19.00 - an attempt to ameliorate the heat factor. We are close to the summer solstice, so daylight should not be an issue. Despite the later start time, this ride will still be subject to a sanity check for heat. I have shortened the route and taken out the climbing..........it's too hot for climbing!
