Oxfordshire 75-mile Ride from Abingdon to Lechlade and Burford	3*

Leader: Robin Tucker	Start Time: 9:00 am	Start Location: Abingdon Market Place
Description: As a warm-up for the Century Ride on 19 July, Cycling UK Oxfordshire are running a long-distance but steady ‘century pace’ staging ride to get your legs in the right gear. This will start from Abingdon Market Place, at 9am. The ride will head westwards via Bampton to Lechlade for coffee/early lunch at the garden centre (27 miles). Then a 21-mile loop north through the Cotswolds (a hillier leg in the middle) via Coln St Aldwyns, dropping into the Windrush valley at Sherborne and continuing down the valley to Burford for a late lunch/early tea. The final leg will continue along the Windrush valley to Minster Lovell and Witney, on to Stanton Harcourt, crossing the Thames and climbing back into the vale from Newbridge, then back to Abingdon via Fyfield. There are plenty of parking options in Abingdon on a Sunday including Rye Farm Car Park off the A415, just south of Abingdon Bridge.
