Description: A return to Goosey this evening. Usually the green is a blaze of wild flowers in June and we will stop to visit the small village church. Return via Charney Bassett, Lyford and Denchworth - about 11 miles.
Riders: Alvaro Rey Barbara Lambers Henk Altmann (deceased) Steve Swanton Susan Holdroyd Riders = 5 Report: A sunny if cool Summer's evening saw five of us follow the route as planned. Goosey green was indeed in its full glory as a grassy meadow. We stopped by the small church and finding it open were able to enjoy a look inside. We decided to have an impromptu stop at the Fox in Denchworth on the way home to celebrate Barbara's significant birthday... A mellow evening, thanks all.
