Description: This week we shall be staying in the Vale and making a tour of the island villages of Charney Bassett, Lyford and the Hanneys. We'll also have a short stop to visit the church in West Hanney. 12-14 miles depending on which loops we decide to include on the day.
Riders: Alvaro Rey Steve Swanton Riders = 2 Report: Alvaro and I enjoyed a companionable ride through the Vale, stopping to tour the churchyard at West Hanney (as the church itself was locked). We zig-zagged back by way of Winter lane(as far as Fyfield turning), Charney Bassett, Lyford and Denchworth.
