CTC Oxfordshire - A Weekend trip to Stratford	3*

Description: CTC Oxfordshire are running a youth hostel / B&B /Camping weekend to Stratford on Avon, 9/10th April 2011 for members from all CTC member groups in Oxfordshire. 4 April - updated details are * Ride from Grove leaving 9am prompt Saturday to * Meet Oxford City members at coffee stop, Yarnton garden center (~21 miles, aiming for 11.15 departure). * Saturday lunch, Chipping Norton (~37 miles) * Evening meal out in Stratford (booked at Moon's Brasserie). * Sunday route back via Shipton-under-Wychwood and Burford with lunch on the way. * Book your own accommodation. YH is aprox 2.5 ml from Stratford center, camp sites 1 and 4 miles from Stratford. (Stratford YH is not listed on the YHA camping at hostels list). 130 or so miles round trip from Grove. Riders are very welcome to join us part way on Saturday or for the weekend if you haven't booked already (but may not be able to join meal at Moon's). Riders: James Dawton Steve Swanton Tony Smith Riders = 3 Report: A great weekend enjoyed in a mini-heatwave with good company (including Rosey and Richard from Oxford). Indeed it was superb route amid the blossoms annd fresh greens of early Spring. Thanks to James for organising it. Full report will be published in the next edition of Oxfordshire Cyclist.
