Autumn Evening Ride	2*

Leader: Chris Walters	Start Time: 7:00 pm	Start Location: OMH
Description: Quick but flat 2* ride in the Vale for 1.5 to 2 hours covering around 40km each week. We will not ride quite as fast as 3* pace, nor will we tackle hills. Will not run if icy, very windy or wet - check the website for cancellation by mid-day on the day of the ride. Tonight's ride heads out to Steventon and Abingdon, returning via Frilford and Fyfield. Good lights capable of lasting the full ride are essential, as is suitable clothing to deal with the cold. Update 14/10/2013 - forecast currently looking good.

Chilly, but not cold enough to be a worry, and clear in general with a few mist patches for atmosphere. A well-balanced and sociable group tonight, riding very well together - it's a real pleasure to see some of our newer riders making great progress! Big mention for Steve - back on the bike after his summer tumble, he did really well to keep going, despite lack of condition. A few more rides like that Steve, and you'll be back on form!
