Tuesday Evening 2* Ride	2*

Leader: John Tranter	Start Time: 6:30 pm	Start Location: OMH
Description: Weekly 1.5 hour rides at a riding pace of 18-20km/h (11-13mph). As this is the last summer ride I thought we could make the most of it and tame the Dragon. Ride out through Childrey towards Dragon Hill and Uffington. For those that wish there is the challenge of the fine late summer view from the White Horse or an alternative option for those not keen. Back through Uffington, Goosey and Denchworth. Sunset is at 7.50pm therefore lights will be required for this ride.

A really good group for the final ride in this summer series. Good weather and beautiful views around and across the Vale. This was not an easy 2* ride - just getting to the base of White Horse Hill is a lumpy undulating route so I was hugely impressed with the keenness and efforts of the group, which stayed together very well. And then everyone made it to the top! Epic views were our reward, followed by the big descent and tailwind assistance back across the Vale as darkness fell. Thanks to everyone for a fun ride!
