Saturday afternoon ride from Grove	3*

Leader: Dave Martin	Start Time: 1:00 pm	Start Location: OMH
Description: Monthly 60-70km (38 - 45 miles) afternoon ride, with a tea stop, riding pace of 20-24km/h (13-15mph). Likely to visit distant destinations. Not suitable for irregular riders. Climbing likely. Ride out via Letcombe Regis, Shrivenham, Highworth, stop at Faringdon for tea/cake, back via Charney Bassett and Denchworth. Should be about 70km including 650m of climb. Approximately 3-4 hours riding, aiming to be back at Grove by 5.30pm.
Riders: Dave Martin Louis Hall Riders = 2 Report: You might ask "What thunderstorms, hail and rain?", the Met-Office backtracked at the last minute and declared sunshine! A glorious afternoon ride through the vale, with a pleasant stop at The Faringdon Coffee House, to sample some of their excellent cake!
