Report:
Welcome to the newer riders Emma, Alistair, Nick and Simon!

Sweltering hot, but we made it. The classic "Tour de Didcot" took on a new poignancy, as this was to be the last club ride with all 6 cooling towers standing - the demolition is due in the darkness tomorrow morning.

No dramas on the ride whatsoever. The tea stop at Savages was excellent as ever, and we had a few stops to take team pictures....

We even lengthened the ride to come back via Ginge, but for most of us, the heat was pretty limiting, so it was with relief that Grove loomed at the end.

Well done to those who have a new "longest ride" to brag about!

Distance:
61.00 km (37.90 mi)
