Easy Saturday afternoon ride from Grove	1*

Leader: Steve Boreham	Start Time: 1:00 pm	Start Location: OMH
Description: Please note start time of 1pm, (may previously been put as 2pm), in light of the shortening daylight. Monthly 16-32km (10-20 miles) family and social afternoon rides, usually with a tea stop, at a riding pace of 13-16km/h (8-10mph). Occasional short or gentle climbs. Today we will head north, via Denchworth, Lyford, and Fyfield, before curling back to Longworth and descending to a pit stop at the Lamb & Flag, before returning via Charney Bassett. *Please bring food refreshments if wanted, as it is likely that the pub only provides drinks (They do coffee & tea etc)
Riders: Barbara Lambers Carin Tranter John Tranter Sarah Dore Steve Boreham Riders = 5 Weather: Report: What a lovely relaxed ride! A nice select little group of five of us, set out, armed with layers, although it was not too long before layers were shed as the weather still very mild - that lovely time of year when we no longer expect good weather but sometimes get it.... and the rain held off. A good pace was set on what was a fairly flat ride - of the climbs - three I think - two of them were for bridges! A lovely laid back tea stop (eg some of the "tea" was amber in colour and came in pints..) was had at the Lamb & Flag, before the "descent" towards Charney Bassett (OK a slight down hill but enough to enjoy!) then back at Grove before 4pm. Enjoyed today - thanks all for your company.
