Tuesday 2* Evening Ride	2*

Leader: Nicole Pethybridge	Start Time: 6:30 pm	Start Location: OMH
Description: Weekly 1.5 hour rides at a riding pace of 18-20km/h (11-13mph). Not likely to be very hilly. This is a bridging ride at the lower level of the range to encourage riders who feel ready to move up to the next star level This ride will take us out through Southmoor, over the footbridge to Hinton Waldrist. We will return via Pusey. Flat and approx 17 miles at an easy low level 2* pace. We should return before sunset but please bring lights.
Riders: Bethany Tranter Brian Hipwell David Paine Ellie Paine John Culverwell John Tranter Lorna Swanton Mike Bailey Nicole Pethybridge Steve Boreham Steve Swanton Tony Clark Val Smith Riders = 13 Weather: Report: A good group of riders aiming to enjoy a 2 star ride for the first time or returners looking for a gentle evening ride to ease them back into the summer season. Whilst clouds threatened it stayed dry and we all headed off through Denchworth for an anti-clockwise ride north or Grove. A good pace was maintained by all as people experienced a 2 star for the first time and found it all very manageable. The only mis hap was when Brian became over enthusiastic about finding his fortune by stopping abruptly to pick up a five pound note in the road. His exuberance was then matched by John Ts exasperation as he went into the back of him and came down on the verge. No actual damage done and I think John T pocketed the £5 for his trouble Over the sneaky A420 bridleway between Southmoor and Hinton Waldrest and we were into the home straight. Returning across the A420 the group picked up pace towards Denchworth & home, happy in their achievements of the evening.
