Tuesday 1* Evening Ride	1*

Description: Our leisurely and sociable 10-mile club rides are designed specifically with adult newcomers to cycling and youngsters in mind, or those who just want some relaxed and sociable exercise. We cover a distance of about 10 miles at a gentle pace of 8-10 mph, following quiet country lanes and the occasional easy off-road track. We stop regularly to catch our breath, to take in the views and anything that takes our interest along the way. A slightly longer but essentially flat ride into the Vale this evening. Out through Denchworth to Charney Bassett, continuing to the very quiet Sheephouse Lane then back via Ock Bridge, Lyford and Denchworth - about 12 miles.
Riders: Carin Tranter Lorna Swanton Steve Swanton Tony Ashdown Riders = 4 Weather: Report: A select group of 3 riders set off from OMH to be joined by Tony in Denchworth. It was a distinctly cool evening and not one to be standing around, even though the sun came out later on. We stopped a couple of times to don extra layers but after that the group preferred to keep riding to keep warm. We maintained a slightly higher than normal 1* pace too and were back in Grove in very good time, adding an extra loop around Grove before finishing. Thanks everyone for your company on an enjoyable ride.
