Pot Luck Supper

Leader: Steve Swanton	Start Time: 6:30 pm	Start Location: Grove
Description: Our summer social is being hosted this year by Steve and Lorna Swanton at their home in Grove, just around the corner from Millbrook Square, 6:30 for 7pm. All club members, family and friends are very welcome to join us. Please each bring a bottle and a dish – savoury, salad or sweet, enough for 4 people per person coming. Bread and potatoes provided. There will be a quiz and a raffle in aid of Whizz kidz the childrens mobility charity (we have had a number of generous donations of cycling-related prizes). Please let Lorna and Steve know if you plan to come by Thursday 13 July. If you expect to arrive late, please bring a dessert. Further details can be found in the flyer attached here.

We had a fantastic spread of savoury and salad dishes followed by gorgeous desserts and lots of cheese to enjoy - thanks to all for a lovely variety of dishes . And it was sufficiently mild that we were able to sit out in the garden all evening. We'd had a number of generous prize donations for the raffle, and thanks to Sam and Ella Yearley's effectivenes in selling tickets, we managed to raise Â£112 for Whizz-kidz. Thanks everyone for your generosity.
