Description: Weekly 1.5 - 2 hours at a riding pace of 20-24km/h (13-15mph). May be hilly. Weekly 1.5 - 2 hours at a riding pace of 20-24km/h (13-15mph). May be hilly. (Might not be hilly) A change of direction for this week out towards Southmoor, if only for the pleasure of riding on a short stretch of smooth tarmac, hooray! Optional social stop at The Fox at Denchworth at the end of the ride.

A fairly flat ride with quite a head wind, but without the forecast rain apart from a few spots. A good turnout of 16 riders and 2 newish riders, Sian and Keith Mitchell. We cycled out to Longworth, back though Fyfield, joining Winter Lane to Hanney (always a pleasure to ride on that stretch of tarmac) and with a final little loop towards Goosey turning back up through Denchworth, with some riders stopping at The Fox and the rest heading back to Grove. No mechanicals. Hooray! Thank you to Eddie for being secondary leader, Yvonne for sweeping and Nick for sweeping and giving good advice to a leader who is still sporting L plates!
