Description: Weekly 1.5 - 2 hours at a riding pace of 20-24km/h (13-15mph). May be hilly. Weekly 1.5 - 2 hours at a riding pace of 20-24km/h (13-15mph). May be hilly. About time we headed north for a bit. A classic Tuesday night route to Abingdon back via Tubney, a tiny bit of the A420 then across to Denchworth. This will be at the fast end of 3* to make sure we minimise cycling in the twilight .

With busy roads, Sara and Jane kindly agreed to lead a second group and we were off. Luckily a puncture turned out to be without foundation and barely caused a pause. With the wind at our back we bowled along merrily. The second group caught us at Steventon. An uneventful crossing of Abingdon and we were on the return. The wind kicked in mightily as we crossed the vale back to Grove but it barely seemed to slow as down. Both Roger and Nick did excellent service as sweeps. The busy roads were as busy as expected, although the A420 was probably the quietest of the busy roads. The pot holes were beyond belief in places!
