Riders: Andy Cowan Darran Milne Frank Schroer Iain Kent Jerry Bird Richard Hypher Ruth Fisher Riders = 7 Weather: Report: The Lead was delegated to Ruth and the report to me. It was the annual 4*Streatley Special,inducing more focused enquiries than usual about the parcours before departure from the uninitiated. Apart from Jerry getting a family call to return home we made the base of the climb with no problems.Ruth whizzed away leaving the rest of us ,in a cacophony of clunking gears and bemoaning the lack of just one more, to grind away. The rest was lumpy but uneventful on a lovely evening. A special mention for Darran who showed some British Army fighting spirit to complete his self proclaimed hardest ever ride even managing to sit on the Leaders`s wheel for the last 10 miles home.
