Description: Weekly 1.5 - 2 hours at a riding pace of 20-24km/h (13-15mph). May be hilly. Weekly 1.5 - 2 hours at a riding pace of 20-24km/h (13-15mph). May be hilly. A shortened tour of the Vale, out via the Letcombes, Hackpen Hill, down to Sparsholt, back via Uffington, through Goosey with optional stop at The Fox, or back to Grove. Remember your lights, sunset is 20.04 Secondary ride leader is Yvonne Bird Optional sociable stop at The Fox, Denchworth after the ride.

With a group of 15 we split into two with Yvonne leading the second group. A lovely ride up Hackpen Hill with a glorious swoop down from Sparsholt Firs to Sparsholt. From Kingston Lisle it was a very enjoyable down hill all the way to The Fox at Denchworth. Thank you to Yvonne for being my second leader, Jo and Kath for sweeping.
