Section Pub Night

Description: A ride to the 'The Wheatsheaf' at East Hendred for a meal, a pint and a chat with good company. Alternatively meet us at the pub at 20:00. Lights required. PLEASE NOTE CHANGE OF VENUE
Riders: Amanda Seddon Derek Boutle Des Higgs Diane Stuckey Jan McCabe Jon Seddon Judi Boutle Keith Ayres Kevin Fairs Richard Divall Steve Swanton Wenfeng Yang Riders = 12 Report: 4 riders left Grove on a chilly March evening unaware of the weather to come. Not long after leaving Denchworth my dynamo failed and I had to "lead" the rest of the ride behind Amanda and her trusty hub dynamo. As before the Wheatsheaf served some excellent food even if the dining room was a bit chilly. By the time the food arrived the snow had already started falling. By the time we left the pub the snow had started to settle and we "enjoyed" a very wet ride back to Stanford. Jan's dynamo failed before we got through Wantage and so the pair of us were now following Amanda's light.
