Broadway 100 Audax

Leader: Kevin Hickman	Start Time: 8:30 am	Start Location: Witney
Description: West Oxon 101 km Audax starting from Witney. Entry fee
Riders: Alice Robson Brigitte Hickman Catherine Hickman Heather Harwood Kevin Hickman Laurent Chambard Mavis Rose Steve Swanton Sue King Riders = 9 Report: 26 riders (4 from Section) on a 'cagoule-on' day with occasional showers and heavy rain after 2:30pm. Superb route through the Cotswolds to Bourton-o-t-water and then on to Broadway where there was an excellent refreshment stop/control manned by Brigitte, Edward & Laurent. The first half was relatively easy with gentle climbs and the wind behind. However, as we feared there followed two tough climbs (with arrows) en route to Chipping Campden and Moreton-i-t-Marsh before a gentler climb up to Kingham. Then back to Witney via Bruern, the Wychwoods, Swinbrook & Minster Lovell. Steve S.
