Tuesday Evening 3* Ride	3*

Description: Weekly 1.5 - 2 hours at a riding pace of 20-24km/h (13-15mph). May be hilly. This is a pre-bookable ride only. To book your place please text the ride leader 07512645320 Or email edlittle157@gmail.com No sooner than the Wednesday before the ride. Weekly 1.5 - 2 hours at a riding pace of 20-24km/h (13-15mph). May be hilly. From Grove we’ll head through to the village of Denchworth. We’ll then pass through Charney Bassett & Buckland, then over The River Thames at Buckland Marsh. From this point we’ll turn off the main road & take advantage of the beautiful quiet lanes of Great Brook & Shifford. Then we’ll head across to Standlake passing back over The River Thames at Newbridge, then up to Southmoor crossing over the A420 via the footbridge. Finally we’ll head for Grove via West Hanney & Denchworth.
Riders: Chris Bailey Eddie Little Joy Arthur Katherine Boyce LeeAnn Norris Sharon Bedford Riders = 6 Weather: Report: Six of us set off from Grove on a very steamy & hot evening Unfortunately this was short lived as poor Joy got a puncture by the Tesco Express. As it was so hot, Joy very kindly didn’t want to hold the ride up, so she decided to leave the ride. I hope you got home safely Joy! Please remember I am always more than happy to mend a puncture for anyone who is on my ride, never a problem!! The five of us carried on around the Thames Valley enjoying the beautiful views & some wonderful fragrances of summer. One of the highlights of the ride was Greatbrook & Old Shifford which never fails to disappoint no matter the season. We said goodbye to Kath at Southmooor, as her bike had a date with the Modern Cyclist. That then just left the four of us to make our way back to Grove. Thanks to everyone for being such excellent company. Hopefully see you all very soon on another ride!!
