Daytime 2* Thursday Ride	2*

Leader: Des Higgs	Start Time: 10:00 am	Start Location: OMH
Description: A Flat ride out to Fyfield with coffee stop at Munchies. As a courtesy to the ride leader, we ask that you pre-book for this ride. Sociable rides from 24km-40 km (15-25 miles) at a pace of 16-19km (10-12 miles) per hour. Please check website on the morning of the ride if the weather is poor as the ride may be cancelled or the start time changed. This is a pre-bookable ride. To book a place, text your name to the ride leader no earlier than 9:00am on the Friday before the ride. You will receive confirmation or be advised that the ride is fully booked. A reserve list will be maintained.
Riders: Barry Eggby David Bridge Des Higgs Karl Blake Terry Ryland Riders = 5 Report: As there were only 2 riders on the 1, the two rides joined together. (See Lorna's 1 report too.) As a group of 7 it was to a very good day for a ride as it was only 1 degree C when we set off but we took it very steady as the road from Grove to Denchworth was very icy. Everybody was relaying warnings to each other so no mishaps. It was very cold so we pushed on from Fyfield Wick through to Kingston Bagpuize to Southmoor, rather then crossing the A420 into Fyfield and coming back over the bridge at Southmoor. We were very well looked after at Munch Cafe and we all thawed out. For the return it had got a bit warmer and most of the ice had melted so we made good time back to Grove.
