Daytime 2* Thursday Ride	2*

Description: As a courtesy to the ride leader, we ask that you pre-book for this ride. Sociable rides from 24km-40 km (15-25 miles) at a pace of 16-19km (10-12 miles) per hour. Please check website on the morning of the ride if the weather is poor as the ride may be cancelled or the start time changed. This is a pre-bookable ride. To book a place, text your name to the ride leader no earlier than 9:00am on the Friday before the ride. You will receive confirmation or be advised that the ride is fully booked. A reserve list will be maintained. Dodgy leg permitting, I will be leading a ride via Fyfield and Stanford Coffee Shop, where we will pause for refreshments. A flat ride.
Riders: Barry Eggby Des Higgs John Groves Paul Bentley Roger Postbeschild Terry Ryland Val Smith Riders = 7 Weather: Report: A select group of seven (one no-show) set off in gloomy conditions to further test my dodgy leg - it seems ok! Incident free apart from persistent drizzle that was not forecast. Coffee and cakes were taken at Stanford Coffee Shop as planned - Des's egg and bacon sarnie looked particularly appetising! A lack of outside seating meant that the additional coffee at Parsons was abandoned. Average speed 20.3 kph.
