Regular Wantage Ride	3*

Leader: Sharon Bedford	Start Time: 9:30 am	Start Location: Beacon Car Park
Description: Monthly 80-100km (50-65 miles) all-day touring ride, lunch and possibly tea stop en route, at a riding pace of 18-22km/h (11-14mph). Not suitable for irregular riders. Climbing almost inevitable. A ride to explore the countryside around Hungerford (without going into the town). As ever when we head south there will be a few hills - but we should be rewarded by some lovely views. Lunch planned at c60k at Wendy's Community Cafe in Great Bedwyn. Let me know if you want to join - on or after 9th May please.
Riders: Jo Little Sharon Bedford Riders = 2 Report: Just two of us out today - but what a glorious ride it was. Warm sunshine but not too hot. Big blue skies and green fields. Route worked well - if a little hilly in places. Lovely lunch in the Great Bedwyn Community Cafe - plus a bonus ice cream stop in Lambourn to give us the energy to get up and over the last hill. One of the highlights was seeing a Barn Owl sweep in front of us - although not quite sure what it was doing out in broad daylight. Thanks to Jo for keeping me company.
