Report:
There was not the best of weather on this ride with a very fine drizzle, but not enough to get you wet. We set off with 7 riders but Di turned back still suffering with the effects of a summer cold. The route went to Hanney, Garford, Tubney and under the A420 and onto Southmoor for a coffee stop at Munch.
The leader had a mechanical on the A338 when my chain got tangled around the crank forming a very neat muddle! The comments included "You couldn't have made a neater knot if you had tied it intentionally". Sorry about the pilot error! Karl put on his rubber gloves and soon sorted it out. Cheers Karl!
Lovely coffee and cakes and then an uneventful ride back to O.M.H. Average speed 14.2mph
Thank you for your good company. Des
