Bike Week Tuesday Evening Rides

Description: We will aim to have two rides leaders for leisurely and sporty options. Bike Week Event
Riders: Bryan Charleston Chris Walters Des Higgs Henk Altmann (deceased) Sorrel Williams Steve Swanton Riders = 6 Report: The wet weather put off all but 6 riders who were ready to brave the elements. The route went through Charney Bassett, Hatford, Fernham, Uffington, Kingston Lisle, Westcot, Sparsholt, Childrey, West Challow and Wantage. A hefty shower soon after the start was wisely ignored as a reason to abandon the ride and the rest of the outing remained dry. The gravel track between Childrey and Challow did for one of the Chairman's tyres, leading to a pit stop in Ham Rd. Henk, Ride Leader
