Moderate Saturday Afternoon Ride from Grove

Leader: Neil Warner	Start Time: 1:00 pm	Start Location: OMH
Description: Aston Pottery for tea via Longworth Newebridge and Standlake maybe Stanton if we're making good time. Back via Bampton, Buckland, Hatford, Fernham, Baulking, Kingston Lyle (steady way)Downs road to East Challow then back to Grove. NOTE: Chimney/Cote Lane is not on the menu as still flooded as my poor dead car will affirm!
Riders: Chris Walters Derek Boutle Des Higgs Geoff Neill Ginny Henderson Jan McCabe Mavis Rose Neil Warner Richard Page Robert Shaw Steve Swanton Sue King Riders = 12 Report: Jan joined us for a short while before peeling off for more swotting, (only a year to go) Managed not to drown anyone on a fine sunny day. Met Kev,Wen et famile at Aston. Despite leaving before the group we reeled them in on the climb to Buckland. A shrinking group carried on across the vale and got what was agreed to be the best of the day riding along the downs road in the afternoon sunshine. Overran the mileage limit by 2km sorry
