Leader: Roger Postbeschild	Start Time: 9:30 am	Start Location: OMH
Description: As a courtesy to the ride leader, we ask that you pre-book for this ride. Sociable rides from 24km-40 km (15-25 miles) at a pace of 16-19km (10-12 miles) per hour. Please check website on the morning of the ride if the weather is poor as the ride may be cancelled or the start time changed. This is a pre-bookable ride. To book a place, text your name to the ride leader no earlier than 9:00am on the Monday before the ride. You will receive confirmation or be advised that the ride is fully booked. A reserve list will be maintained. Flattish ride in The Vale to Faringdon where we can get a coffee at Costa (not a lot of choice on a Sunday! Posted route has an excursion into Baulking, generated for some unknown reason by RWGPS. We shall not be taking this excursion.
Riders: Barry Stanton David Jackson Karl Blake Roger Postbeschild Riders = 4 Weather: Report: A slightly longer 'Shortie' where we called in to see Des on parking duty at Uffington. His absence puts Karl at the top of the leaderboard, if you are counting...... Costa at Faringdon proved a good choice for a Sunday morning (the only choice in Faringdon) and they even laid on a shelf for helmet storage! Barry had a slight mechanical coming back through Stanford, snapping a spoke. A slight buckle of the wheel ensued but it was rideable with care to get us back to Grove, where more Costa was enjoyed due to a lack of seating at Parsons. The wheel went back with Karl for repair.
