Description: The Biennial Cyclotouriste version of the Queen of the classics.
Riders: Amanda Seddon Jon Seddon Matt Chambers Neil Warner Pat Hurt Riders = 5 Report: Matt, Pat and I self helped our way out, Jon and Amanda with Graham Baxter Sporting Tours. Without doubt the hardest mental and physical thing I have ever done. Apparently there was some beautiful Picardy countryside, I spent a lot of time staring at the cobbles. Don't get me wrong I enjoyed it in the end and the bike survived with only a few stone chips. Riding into Roubaix Velodrome in the shadow of cycling giants is still a bit choking but I had enough for what passes in my book as a sprint finish. Somehow the official photo makes me look like a tired bloke hanging in for dear life. Surely not? Thanks to Matt and Pat for the company and Graham Hudson our driver who made the whole thing a lot easier. Hmm what next?
