Tuesday Evening 3* Ride	3*

Leader: Sharon Bedford	Start Time: 6:30 pm	Start Location: Old Mill Hall
Description: Weekly 1.5 - 2 hours at a riding pace of 20-24km/h (13-15mph). May be hilly. Please pre-book for this ride by contacting the ride leader. 1.5 - 2 hours at a riding pace of 20-24km/h (13-15mph). Lyford, Kingston Bagpuize, Fyfield, Longworth, Pussey Please arrive by 6.20pm for the ride leader's briefing and a prompt start to the ride. We are not always able to wait beyond the start time.
Riders: Andrew Rimmer Andy Pixton Jan McCabe Jo Little Joy Arthur Karen Townsin Nick Dunton Sharon Bedford Simon Atkin Yvonne Bird Riders = 10 Report: Great to get the Tuesday Evening ride season going, (after the cancellation of week 1 due to heavy rain). To be honest it was touch and go whether we would get out this week too, but the strong winds earlier in the afternoon abated just in time (as did the hailstorms some of us encountered on the way to the start!). I had contingency plans for curtailing the ride if need be, but the weather gods were kind to us and it was dry with some lovely sunshine so we were able to do the full route. We even got to see a rainbow, (which I was later very sad to discover meant the 2*s got rained on). We made it back just before dusk. Great group who were cheery and made it easy to lead. Thank you. Thanks too to those that volunteered to take the front were the wind was particularly strong. Looking forward to the new season now with much joyful anticipation.
