Description: Weekly 1.5 - 2 hours at a riding pace of 20-24km/h (13-15mph). May be hilly. Please pre-book for this ride by contacting the ride leader. 1.5 - 2 hours at a riding pace of 20-24km/h (13-15mph). Standard White Horse Hill route Please arrive by 6.20pm for the ride leader's briefing and a prompt start to the ride. We are not always able to wait beyond the start time.
Riders: Chris Bailey Clare Hazell Graham Bergdahl Jan McCabe Jane John Karen Townsin Paul Smith Riders = 7 Weather: Report: Ascent of White Horse Hill It was raining slightly when we met, and continued to rain the whole way round! But despite the weather we had an enjoyable ride out through Wantage, and Childrey, undulating up along the foothills of the springline road, before turning for our ascent the Col de White Horse, the weather meant the views weren't as great as normal, but a positive was that there was no other traffic on the main ascent, so was lovely to make out way up at our own pace; A brief stop for a photo, then a careful descent as roads were rather greasy, followed by a flat ride through the vale to return to Grove
